SPEECH BY MINISTER PANDELI MAJKO
Dear Mrs. Minister of Education of the Republic of Albania and Kosovo, Honorable Mrs. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo and the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our colleague and friend since the beginning of the state reform for the diaspora. Today is a little meeting in different online conditions with teachers in the Diaspora. Due to a viral emergency, we have avoided the tradition of holding this meeting in Albania or Kosovo, I think that in the conditions we are in, everyone has an understanding of this issue. This meeting comes after a series of important steps, despite the fact that in the conditions of the epidemic, both countries and Albania and Kosovo have maintained stable communication regarding the relations that we should undertake in terms of teaching in the diaspora. What is important is that the agreement is being implemented as quickly as possible.
We are now in the textbook approval phase. I think we started this job being just a primer to do and currently, we are working hopefully as it is not able to experts and those who are adding this other educational work, not in September of this year but next to start to do with books is new to teaching in the diaspora for approval by both the Ministries of Education in Albania and Kosovo. I think this is one of the little invisible revolutions that is especially felt and felt by those who are actually the protagonists of a meeting, the teachers in the diaspora. I would like to have a health greeting of a free perfection as a newly created structure with volunteerism, and then in the second phase which is part of the state structure, the Coordinates of the Council and the Teachers in the Diaspora with all Albanian territories and such are part inseparable and cooperation, discussion of interests that security can not be discussed simply and only with an annual meeting. This council maintains constant communication with me, QBD and the institution that characterizes the reasonable and is a proper quality to join Albania and Kosovo for education in the diaspora. You use it to say that Albania and Kosovo have started to coordinate education policies, before learning they do not complain that they do not write. I have the impression that QBD competes with MASR here in Albania as books in the diaspora arrive here in Albania, independently they are about different distances. A useful competition that we want to maintain. Further opinions that the word will meet experts of representatives of the Ministries of Education to wish the expression of gratitude and respect for the group of experts, the Council of Teachers Coordinates in the Diaspora and a person for the staff of QBD to do so far. I am very pleased to participate in this annual election meeting between Albania and Kosovo to learn about the diaspora. I wish you everything to be approved and a better successful meeting.
